Um, don't do barre chords and not "la lay" as in "lie" but "ley" as in "law" to rhyme with "rey" which means "king". (it was a typo at the part you wanted us to jump to, he writes the letra correct earlier). And the first macho is a bit different, the normal one is the Enrique el Gordo (Ortega) version. Also, we normally repeat the Line with the G chord, otherwise like this in polo. Because polo uses that ending, the term "Soleá Apolá" has been used for certain styles. Both of the old examples, (I guess those were the ones I was looking for the oldest versions) have a "lamento" that is closer to the melisma thing Eduardo Ocón notated for "Polo" in 1860s. Also they don't repeat the G harmony line of verse as Romero above (actually Tenaza does it but the guitar goes back to E which is wrong). Castro Buendía missed the opportunity to compare to those recordings.
