FlamencoLive.com has as couple of video classes that look worthwhile - one by Leiva, one by Jose Manuel Montoya

ITreatise on Accompaniment to Singing – Collection of 9 volumes – David Leiva

Creative Resources for Flamenco Guitar – Pack- José Manuel Montoya

I discovered these in the free "gift" FlamencoLive sends at the end of each year - an email that let's you purchase the 'gift' book for 0 dollars to get you familiar with the website and gives a couple of full samples from various series.

When I first purchased Leiva's transcriptions of Paco, I always wonder if these guys can also play - I think it's safe to say Leiva can play.

Also, having the videos with the accompanying synched tab/notation really makes learning these things easier.

Have any of you guys given them a try ?

I looked at one of the Leiva bulerias ones and found it strange. He replaced the original guitar playing with his own and it didn't sound quite right. I would have much preferred if he taught the original guitarist's parts. Having said that, it still could be a valuable resource. As far as his personal level of playing, I really couldn't say.
