ric -> nails superglue etc. (Dec. 12 2024 19:20:15)

Hola,
I have been trying to get my nails correct and have used many different types of material (cotton, toilet paper, paper towels, carbon fiber, silk etc.) with super glue. It wasn't until recently I oddly tried a product used for windows called "Pennzoil Advanced Glass". These are thick towelettes and one container supplies many lifetimes of use for nails. Cut to nail size then apply super glue to saturate the surface. WARNING: My experience is that when super glue gets older it interacts more quickly and you (I) can burn the **** out of your fingernail is it heats up, so use a little at a time, then reapply in about half hour or so. Another warning is that the material needs a long time to cure fully which can take a few hours--even with super glue. Sand and buff and you have very strong nails.
Tried to find the product online and couldn't. They make similar products, but I can't say they're the same, sorry. (35 count, $2.99 may have come from Ross or some discount store)
