In the past I tried to point out how the family of Tiento/Tangos is essentially related to the tree of Soleá, with rhythmic interpretation in 4 instead of 3. That was a bit of a hard concept for some folks I guess.

But this Romance letras accompanied por Arriba is great example, look how the guitar phrases and combio resolutions are basically Soleá with 4 count rhythms:

The intro absolutely.

Cañizares transcribes it as 4/4+2/4, where the chords hit on the down beats of the 2/4 bars. He obviously missed the connection to Aires Choqueros (which he transcribes in 3/4 correctly as I see it.)
