He is like Van Halen, Randy Roads, and Yngwie rolled into one guy. He and Nuno were my go to inspirations during high school, and I had a rejuvenated respect in the mid 2000s when he reunited Racer-X. Great sense of humor, but almost too goofy for how good he plays.
That yellow Ibanez was stolen on tour a few weeks ago. It made me think about how His guitars, Manolo Sanlucar’s Tauromagia Ramirez, and Paco De Lucia’s best Conde were all stolen and exist somewhere out there on this planet. They should all be found for posterity. With social media it should be a global movement to get this problem solved.
