devilhand -> Rosinha de Valenca (Aug. 9 2024 22:22:25) Anyone heard of this lady? Her right hand posture, arpegio and pulgar is flamenco. How come a Brazilian woman plays Bossa nova and Brazilian pop music with a flamenco tone? Her wikipedia article says nothing about flamenco related stuff.

However, I would say the Baden Powell influence, whom she worked with. People generally think his right hand tech is “classical” but clearly closer to a flamenco approach.
