Usually we play free stroke arpegio. How about rest stroke arpegio? I read somewhere on the foro V. Amigo plays arpegio apoyando. Any thoughts on rest stroke arp in terms of sound and speed?

It’s hard to do fast and clean like Vicente. I never found it worth the priority to practice versus other techniques. Other option is to just rest stroke on the ring finger to try and emulate Vicente.

Why are you still asking about this? have you completed tirando arpeggio?[:D] why is a beginner asking about such things? arent you content to learn regular arpeggios?

You question was general-so it absolutely answers It in detail with specifics. The basic thing is if you Want the notes to ring against each other you have To do tirando, as apoyando stops the adjacent notes. At fast speeds that might not matter. Also apoyando Might project a bit more volume wise.
