I was looking at the Mundo Flamenco site run by Johannes in Germany (I think its his new site) and saw he mentions these 2 builders both passing away this May within a few weeks of each other. Not sure it was mentioned anywhere else.

Didn’t know about Sanchis, amazingly underrated builder whose guitars were always the best competition (cheap Valencia models) against high end concert guitars from Madrid. His early 2000 run of individually hand made concert guitars were excellent for the price. I own the sons’ guitar which is just as good.
