Do strings just last for very short amount of time during summer? (Full Version)

I switched from ej27 to ej45 thinking that would make a difference but my strings are not lasting me more than 7 days. They become very rubbery and corroded in just a span of 7 days and I don't have sweaty hands. I don't remember them lasting this short just a few months ago during the winters

Likely a bad batch. I once opened a pack of D Addario with special sealed plastic bag…all corroded. I assume there was moisture that was sealed into the bag or something, and then the were shelved for years before I got them.

I have tried quite a lot of different brands over the past couple of years and Savarez Cantiga basses seem to last longer than others, even D'Addario.

That's funny, 'cos the Savarez Cantiga basses are the basses in the Savarez Tomatito sets, which Ricardo said didn't last one gig (or was it one rajeo, I can't remember)! [:D]
