Hi dear foro members,

My long sharished dream seems to happen after summer.
I am going to walk the pilgtimage route to Santiago de Compostella, starting in Saint-Jean-pied-de-Port.
Starting around 25 August till around 6 oktober.

Any of you ever did the Camino?

I haven't but my ex did and she loved it. It was very difficult on her feet, though, and she got a bunch of blisters afterwards, so prepare well and make sure you stay at nice places on the way as she stayed in hostels that ended up being unsafe.

That’s 780 km and 41 days, average 19km (11 miles) a day. Several people I know did some parts of the Camino for either one or two weeks. They totally enjoyed it and encouraged me to do one week.
