My fav part. quote: El Gloria sang accompanied by a Madrid player named Manuel Bonet. He sang well and won the contest. I was with my father, who called out to him "Sing siguiriyas". And El Gloria said "Sure, but send your son down to play for me." And I did.

Getting back to the interview with Pascual de Lorca in my first post above, at 1:50 Pascual said he learned flamenco guitar from maestro Palmita who was a pupil of Javier Molina. Interesting to know that Palmita is the grandfather of Mercedes Lujan. The biography on her homepage says she learned the toque from her grandfather.
