At 3:08, I disengage the mid-side mode, and go into summed mono mode, so you can hear the difference.
This guitar is fitted with a soundboard transducer as well as a gooseneck microphone, both internally mounted (you can see the microphone through the sound hole). Because of the particular devices I used here, I had to put two mono endpin jacks into the tail of the guitar, one for the SBT and one for the mic. The SBT goes via a TS cable into Ch 1 of the MS-2, and the mic goes via a TS cable into Ch 2 of the MS-2. The MS-2 then generates the stereo image. I am *extremely* satisfied with the sound I get from this setup, and it is very resistant to ambient noise, so I can record more or less with anything going on in the background, and none of it comes into the recording, but I get a sound that is very similar to being mic'd up externally, which is fabulous!
