This was in the back of my mind as well when I tested myself with several different guitars. I thought either one would jump out as sounding “better” than the rest, or perhaps the fact I enjoyed playing one more than another might make a difference as to how the resultant sound was produced …. Therefore I would objectively choose the best guitar no matter what the price or my bias toward wood and labels. In the end, each guitar played back at random to me (I had just played each one moments before the same short falseta) ALL SOUNDED THE EXACT SAME![:D] It was quite a shock that I could not tell which guitar was which by sound alone.
