bahen -> Insurance? (Jun. 15 2023 11:55:23)

Hi all. I need to insure my guitar for some upcoming travels and wondering if anyone has any relevant experience / recommendations. I've been considering Allianz but their terms are a total minefield with a web of get-out clauses (even to me, as a lawyer) and the internet is littered with horror stories of claims that haven't been honoured. I'm UK-based and the travels will be in the EU.

Cheers!

B.

I have used Clarion for a few years for a couple of expensive guitars. They specialize in musical instruments and have decent rates. They require an appraisal from a recognized dealer or other reputable expert.

Heritage is another one to look into. The key experience to look for is that of making a claim. You'll find some info if you search around violinist.com
