I'm going to be in the city for a few weeks and I was hoping for suggestions where I catch some music.

Plenty of music around in the bars. Plaza Garibaldi for the mariachi bands, but you have to pay them. So better wait around until someone else does. Worth it though.

The city is most often referred to as D.F. (Distrito Federal) locally and is an awesome place. Try some tacos al pastor from a street stand.

I have been in Mexico for a few weeks already and have seen a few mariachis in the zocalo. The tacos al pastor have been a mainstay. Though I didn't expressly ask I was hoping for suggestions for flamenco. I have googled it and it appears some of the places have shut in the last few years. I was hoping someone might point to something I may have missed.
