I really like the macho he does there…but I don’t recognize where it comes from. He is emphasizing that 7th degree which you don’t hear much in Siguiriyas vs. many style of Solea do that (Andonda 1, Mellizo 2, Frijones 2, etc.) and he keeps repeating that melodic phrase (7-6-5-4, G-F-E-D, giving Dm repeatedly). Very different than Curro Durse etc, but I can’t place it.
