Wild - she’s got reserves

There were always candid, informal videos of her singing soul and pop music. But she seems to be taking it to the stage the past few months. Personally I prefer flamenco but she does sound naturally talented and to be authentically enjoying singing this way. And whether singing flamenco or soul/pop; ella transmite.

But she's not the only one. For example Yerai Cortes, recently praised on another thread for his 'excellent taste' also releases kitsch pop music:

Whitney is my second favorite female singer, and the first singer to ever get me in the “feels” (not this song, and when I was a child I mean). Maria is not nearly as good, but of course, Whitney would not be able to do buleria or fandango.

She should audition for The Voice!

Sounds like maybe she wanted to hit that high note at the end, where the sax was?

hahah oh gosh.

the content on thier page is ghastly!! what is Yerai even doing on these tracks? i mean literally? not much guitar at all. maybe vocals? or producing?

Her second album Manifesto is out today. She premiered it at the Nimes flamenco festival two weeks ago and blasted the roof off the theater!! Her siguiriyas was the highlight of the show for me - among many many others. Most of the show was traditional flamenco - with just a few pop elements mixed in here and there (with varying degrees of success). When she sticks to her roots she's phenomenal and we're lucky to have her on the flamenco scene today !!

Jesus Christ.... i didnt care at all for the english imperfection sometimes.
Crazy tone and voice range, Jesus.

To sing that song you know allready that it will be real good , or really really bad.
Top performance

Del Amanecer is allways a great Flamenco boost , like vitamins
Hard to honour Merce with that song , but she was great. (still prefer Merce jaja)

New album sounds good to me, modern and with an edge. Someone did a good job with the vocal sound and production in general. EDIT: Yerai Cortés produced and played guitar, Harto Rodríguez mixed.
