Hello everyone,

I'm pretty much new to playing flamenco. Now in most exercise the focus lies on the left hand. What I'm looking for is right-hand exercises and tips and hints 'for the right hand' in general. Anyone got suggestions?

Mayby more specific: I'm wondering how flamencoplayers play, let's say, rushes - these quick runs across the fretboard...

First one I learned was, from tucked position like you were going to flip a piece of paper across the room. a down m down i down i up.

I would recommend Graf martinez books 1 and 2. that will get you going.

There are so many technics and when you play long enough you find for every technic your individual way how it works best and fastest. There is no law how to hold your hands and fingers.. But a general tip would be. No matter which technic you use, try do small movements. As smaller as faster as more precise.
