I mentioned I bought this book, and I was impressed with the musical structure section where they describe the melody, form, rhythm, accompaniment, etc, fairly condensed but I think for guitar students this little section could be super helpful. You can actually see it and pause the video to read the descriptions here from 0:47 to about 1:00 where the letra organization is discussed. Although the book comes with a CD, folks can find stuff on this video and search YouTube for the recordings later. I admit in terms of theory there is some translation that needs to be made, but they lay out their system pretty clearly. For example they used Romans but are clear to call those “grados” so they mean scale degrees not triads.

That looks amazing! Is there anything similar for other palos. I would love a solea one with the cante different melodies and letras written out like that. The only thing I have seen is Normans website and the odd article but I haven't looked hard.

Thanks for sharing.
