Echi -> RE: Article on Granada guitar making (Sep. 28 2021 16:20:26)

I suppose everybody here in the foro bear a special feeling for Granada or has some memories to tell, as I. In this case I think the matter is to see recognised at an institutional level the historical role of Granada for guitar making and his actual international relevance. No idea how much this will have an impact on the sales of guitars made in Granada or will have just a cultural value. Granada aside, there is a general problem with the worldwide market of quality handmade guitars, wherever they are made. Some of the problems are the lack of culture about quality handmade stuff, competition with serially made guitars made in cheaper countries, and the difficulty to advertise and compete correctly in the worldwide business: the role of the dealers is just the last problem: it’s not easy to sell in these days.
