Klimbimm -> Greetings from Canada (Jul. 13 2021 22:55:21)

Greetings from Stirling, Ontario, Canada,
I’ve been playing guitar for many years (started in 1975) and over the last few years I’ve been getting more into classical. I have a Godin Multiac Concert which is really nice to play but is near useless unplugged. Plugged in it sounds ok but doesn’t really have a good classical guitar sound imo. So I thought I’d pick up a real classical. Anyhow, I’ve always had a fascination for Flamenco. The speed and passion of it not to mention the obvious complexity. So I figured I would get a flamenco guitar and that would allow me to play classical on it as well. In support of this I’m picking up an Alhambra 10FP Pinana Negra this Thursday. Pretty excited about it.

Welcome Klimbimm.
Lot of good tallent here on the foro, not me of course, I make flamingo noise mostly but I'm enjoying the journy. I started building guitars a few short years ago, not quite ready for prime time but I'm getting there.

So, you into old school or new? Say, Diago Del Gastor or PDL? Mostly solo guitar or Cante? Balle?

I'm not a fan of the Jazz fusion myself so I like early PDL but don't care for most of the late. Think punk rock vs easy listening ;)

I've got a early fender strat that I haven't picked up in a few years that I used to bang around on.

I’m new here too, been lurking a bit but decided to jump in. I’m from Sterling, Alaska, and the surrounding area.
