joevidetto -> comprehensive list of pieces listed by key/capo (Jul. 12 2021 14:12:49)

Listening and picking out my favorite falsetas seems to have become a hobby in itself. Of course - if you want to mix and match your favorites, it occurred to me that one useful thing to have would be a list of pieces from various artists listing the key/capo position for each. If you happen to have the transcriptions - this is pretty easy to create. Would anyone out there be interested in collaborating to create such a list - starting with those in the transcription books you already own ? Yes - I could do that by myself - but I think sharing the task would be more fun and lead to some interesting conversations. Also - another useful thing to do is know which pieces across palos are in the same key (no by key, I mean chord voicings for each palo, independently of whether a capo is used - not the actual key). When trying to become more familiar with a key, sticking with one key across a couple of pieces really helps build fluency with it. What do you think ?
