One of the first Alegrias where the silencio struck me as particularly beautiful was Paco's "A La Perla De Cadiz" - in fact, the whole piece is one of the favorites in my top 10. With PDL you need a top 10 - 3 is impossible :) Can anyone offer any other Alegrias pieces with a beautiful silencio ?

But honestly the form “Rosas” going back to ramon Montoya is the basis of silencio. Pacos recuerdos a Patiño and Barrio la Viña follow this structure.
