As I learn PDL falsettas, I can't always remember all of them, especially if I want to do a bunch in a row.

So I "name" them, which may also include a visualization of a chord/notes diagram. For example, working on El Tempul my names, in order, are
1. "El Tempul Intro falsetta",
2. Bb/C Rasqueado triplets (1st pstn)
3. alzapua Bb (begin 513, 3rd fr)
4. F arpegios (1 pst)

Maybe not so hard to remember a few - but when you get up to 20 or 30, do you have any type of system to help you remember and review all of them from memory ?

If you do name them - share a few of your names.

joevidetto

i used to do this myself when i first started gigging. i used to get so nervous that having them named as a chord or word etc... on a piece of paper would help me remember them on stage. then after a while my friends started making fun of me until i stopped using a cheat sheet on stage. do whatever it takes to get comfy then try to memorize and not depend on anything external for info my two cents man
