Hi everyone. I can’t remember when it was but I can’t find it anymore. It was peoples accompaniment on a Solea Cante that was a recording with vocals only.
Does anyone still have the audio file of only the cante that they can share? Or if anyone knows any other resources to find unaccompanied Cante. I’ve been focusing on Solea lately so that would be most helpful in my case!
Try to accompany any recorded soleá, even with guitar. You will learn that in cante the compás is elastic and the guitar will give you clues for chords and changes.

Before the original link in the fist post by Florian became completely inoperative, I was lucky to recover and transfer all to google drive. You can see the current links in the following post on page 24 in that same thread (kinda hard to find),

Don’t be shy. If you feel you got the hang of it, or want specific advice, please upload and share your attempts, hearing various takes and different approaches help everyone learn how to do it. I did several of them but my way is not the only correct way to do it, and I wished that others that know how had contributed more to that important topic. Henry was a great example to watch over time getting ever better at it.
I know what al golpe means. What are we gonna call cante only with palmas instead? This is Bulerias with no guitar accompaniment.

It would be interesting to hear how this Buleria will sound with guitar accompaniment. I wonder how long it will take pros to make it happen. A few minutes, a day or longer? Where to start when we have a track like this or Solea al golpe above?

Cante sin Guitarra or “palo seco”, are the terms used.
The original idea I had for educational purpose was to do only one take on the fly...it’s how it’s done in reality except the singer would react to your compas. I did a couple like that in the thread you linked earlier. The funny one was a buleria Florian posted with two singers that went out of key etc... I did it in one take to show how to deal with it. In the end it proved to be very challenging so just trying a couple takes to get it right is ideal. But if you end up arranging your accompaniment to fit, well, you will have a very tough time dealing with live singers that improvise IMO.
