Does anyone know the guitar tuning for this piece? I thought it might be a Rondena but apparently not.

It is normal except for 6th string is dropped to C. The main tonality is B phrygian like granaina. Another version exists called “Yerma” on the album Andando Del Tiempo. Ironically when asked what he considered the piece he said “Rondeña? No se....” and shrugged his shoulders. [:D]

He has a magnificent buleria and Jaleo that went with this...the buleria ventures in C minor tonality.

Jaleo at 1:51

Buleria

Thanks Ricardo. I'm enjoying your album on Amazon stream.

Sometimes I remind myself of seeing him live before his injury. However impressive he was before, I am even more impressed with how he hasn't let injury stop him. He is still great (but I do sometimes miss those arpeggios!)
