Wow at £380 someone picked up a serious bargain restoration project - the condition report refers to the golpeador as "There is a crack to the front panel which is covered in a piece of plastic"!! [:D][:D]

Looks like the crack goes under the bridge, so she’s a gonner. Unless it’s been already glued, cleeted and stablized. I remember a friend had a guitar with that problem and it was done cuz there was forever this weird vibration in the tone.

Ah thanks Ricardo - that's good to know. It reminded me of Anders saying that he thought guitarists were too hung up about avoiding guitars with cracks whereas violinists wouldn't think twice about such things. I guess it's always going to be a higher risk strategy unless you really know what you're looking at. Useful info...

Yes cracks all over and around the bridge I am ALL for it! It’s just tricky when it goes underneath the bridge.
