Blind Dog -> Nut position (Aug. 29 2020 13:18:20)

I got my new Navarro blanca, I love it, but found an issue. The nut is off center. I noticed after playing it for a while the 6 string is closer to the edge than the 1 string. As I looked closer, I realized the nut overhangs the edge a little more on the 6 string side. You can feel it, you can see it. The guitar was shipped with the string tension released so could the nut have slid on its own? I always assumed the nut was glued in place. If not, could I just release the string tension and slide it back over to center? I attached a picture, you can see it easily.

Never mind, I fixed it.

Honestly that is about how I set them on all my guitars anyway. So when I play the picado run in La Barrosa I don’t yank the 1st off the board.

Yeah, you can just move it in its groove, as you probably discovered.
