I am helping a collector client of mine sell his almost new, very fancy Marcelino Lopez blanca (tuners on this one). The guitar is in excellent condition. The ancient spuce top is heavily figured and very beautiful with flame maple golpe plates. The bridge has inlayed into the wings 2 pearl dots with floral type etching. The cypress is very fine quality, with the back made up of 3 pieces with nice purfling details. The sound of this guitar is really something, very incisive with lots of flamenco rasp. However at the same time it has a very woody, old school tonality, very much capable of playing Bach as well as a Bulerias. For someone looking for a Lopez, this one is hard to beat.
