Hi everyone, I've been a lurker here for many years, but I've never posted anything. My name is Lance and I've been playing flamenco guitar for about 20 years, long enough to be much better than I am, but until a few years ago much of that time was not really spent productively.
I figured this was the best place to introduce myself, but my reason for posting here now is that I've made a flamenco metronome and I'm looking for testers to try it out before I make it available publicly. The app is designed for the iPhone and can be run on any device running iOS 10.3 and up.
It's a free app, so when the beta testing is over you'll be able to continue using it.
Aside from testers, I'm also looking for people who would like to contribute sound samples. The main limitation of the app right now is the sound quality. I'm relying on public domain sound samples and the quality of the samples is the biggest factor in the overall sound quality of the app. Right now, the bass cajon sounds good, but the palmas are meh at best. There are no treble cajon sounds at all because the samples I have just sound awful in the app.
I'm very open to feedback and collaboration on the app. I'm neither a sound engineer, nor a master of compás, so don't hesitate to get in contact with me if you'd like to contribute in any way.
