Aaron, Welcome to the Foro. Funny thing about the pegs. They were the first part I made... The lacewood pegs were not really done when my partner says, oh my they look like fox heads, we have fox that wander through the yard on occasion, so I just left them like that. Not the most practical that's for sure. I started building less then two years ago, I have seven hanging around here and there, one on the bench, and more then a few bouncing around in my head. There are years of build threads here on the foro and I recommend you dig around and read them, while bookmarking those with the most meat on their bones to back over to nibble on when you feel starved for that missing detail. I also hang out at the delcamp Luther forum where again there are years of building threads. I have a couple build threads at the Delcamp under the same user name. My number two is a street brawl guitar. I did some crazy experiments as I was building her. She lives in the shop. I love the idea of Eucalyptus. Block it out in back and side chunks and let it sit some to see what it's going to do. If it doesn't do,anything crazy strip off some 3-5mm and let it sit for a while. Guessing there is some stunning fugir hidden in there although inversely proportional to stability. Go big or go home! I went with the lets build a quick ugly lets learn without getting carried away instant gratification program. Many take the other route and build stunning guitars in their kitchen with only hand tools taking a year or more. There is little wrong with eater as long as one gains satisfaction in the process HR
