I don’t understand Spanish but I love Manolo Sanlucar music. His Mi Farruca and Elegia Al Nino Ricardo ( Seguiriyas) are my favorites.

I just noticed that this is available on Amazon Prime, with the option to select English subtitles.

Now on youtube with the option to select English subtitles as well. Not 100% correct but one can understand most of it.

Beautiful to watch it again on my big screen TV in high quality.

For me, I don’t understand why this film nor any of the three PDL documentaries bother to mention the amazing duet collaborations. Granted, it was only two pieces that were released, but as a guitar enthusiast the two pieces emphasize the high points of their careers imo. Just as important as the guitar trios they made with other players or orchestra involvements. A brief clip or honorable mention would have been appreciated imo.

Holy sh!t. Look at 0:10 in the 2nd video. How tall is M. Sanlucar?

Ricardo -> RE: Manolo Sanlucar, el legado documentry (Aug. 28 2020 17:06:33)

A little shorter than me

I guess it'll come down to devilhand doing a size-chart of all the famous flamenco players sooner of later... [8D]

Bottom right is Raul El Perla by the way!

A nice picture. Now a picture with Paco Cepero and Manuel Morao is missing. I thought M. Sanlucar might be 160 cm. But it looks like he's 166 cm. The third guy on the right in the picture must be as tall as PdL.

@Deniz
Top right is Paco Cepero.

Maybe this helps

The last picture puzzles me because Tomatito was slightly taller than Paco in many pictures I have seen recently.
