I'm going to replace the machine heads on my nylon strung guitar Some “experts” will insist that you must always change one string at a time. A well known luither and friend in San Francisco from years ago (Segovia, Carlos Montoya and Sabicas were some of his customers) named Harmon Satterlee answered a group of “experts” on this topic. The “experts” went on and on about why you must change one string at a time. How do you clean the fret board? No answer. Harmon stated, “How do you think we build guitars? With the strings on”? I enjoy “experts”. [:D] Your ability to argue a point does not mean that you are correct. Let the “experts” enjoy themselves. After all, their advice is free and worth every penny!
