Hello, I listened to a few links of your playing and the head stock on that guitar didn't appear to be the one you are selling. Many Japanese guitars, Flamencos, sold for about 2 to 300 dollars back in 1976, and the solid backs and sides sold about that in competition with laminates. The $1,500 price tag on this one seems to be high compared to other solid wood guitars built in that era. Sure, we have inflation, but not at a competitive rate with other inexpensive models in that time frame, when you consider that Marlon Navarro is selling his solid wood guitars, new, for about $800 retail, which I hear are very competitive with current student models. We have a blockage/slowdown in sales due to a depressed market, with all prices at this time. I talked with a friend who had a recent conversation with a dealer in expensive guitars and their conversation was quite revealing about a definite decline in higher priced instruments that has slowed the market considerably. But hang in there, as your offer is not out of line for those with little money.
