Lovely, especially the rosette. Maple is underrated sometimes and is a pity, such a lovely sounding wood.. One day I need to try a cedar top with maple b&s, never saw any!

In intensive A/Bing experience before a certain purchase, my impression was that maple appears to contribute to very lyrical highs. Basses in the meantime can be a tiny bit shallow / timid. (Returned a classical contender after some days.)

A maple acoustic bass however proved that this wood can actually come in with exactly the kind of bass one may be looking for (it sounded kind of rock amplified; really too bad that the top sunk in later on).

Anyway, yours shows how it all can be had at once.
And like always, an inviting eye candy!

Thanks, Ruphus. I love the history of Maple being used on stringed instruments throughout the centuries, and it is beautiful wood. I haven't really found the basses to be lacking on the Maple guitars I've made but they do sometimes have a "softer" quality.
