quote:
What you play is each chord twice (because of the ditto marks), and then the whole sequence like this because of the repeat signs and the [1. 2.][3.] indicators: 3 3 5 5 7 7 0 0 3 3 5 5 7 7 0 0 3 3 5 5 7 7 8 8 7 (7) where (each number represent the chord in that position, except (7) which is the single note E at the very end): 3 3 5 5 7 7 0 0 is the first sequence, which you are told to then repeat, so 3 3 5 5 7 7 0 0 is the second sequence, and then you are told to start repeating again, except this time [3.] the last chord is at position 8 instead of position 0, so you play 3 3 5 5 7 7 8 8 as the third sequence ( the 8 8 are the chords with the ornamentation) and then the 7 (7) is how I marked the chord in position 7 that follows and the single E note in position 7 (as (7)). In fact now that I listened carefully to the clip, the bit in position 0 should be 0 (0), not 0 0, as it is the 000 chord and a single D (0), not two 000 chords. Yeah- I am such an idiot sometimes! For some reason after memorising the piece, playing it and listening to it many times I started playing the chords singly instead of doubled up. Cheers
