It's a shame no one talked about him in this forum. I think he has not received enough recognition in his career. He's even older than Nino Ricardo.
In rito y geografia series, his accompaniment sounds awesome. He was over 70 back then, but still he delivered wonderful Solea from 12:50 to 20:40.

Well, he is far overshadowed by his brother, the brilliant Esteban Delgado, who was born same year as sabicas and composed some of the most popular pieces ever in the traditional repertoire. Popularity of his compositions became legendary after being immortalized by Paco de Lucia recording and performing them early in his career.

Never heard of Esteban Delgado before. Do you have any theory why he's overshadowed by his brother except that his brother composed some of the popular pieces?

As I said.... Paco de lucia immortalized the guy’s compositions, performing them all over the world in the 70’s.
