So. Planning to go back to Jerez in February 2020.

I know it is way early, but has anyone got links to buy tickets for either Bodegas Gonzalez Byass or Claustros de Santo Domingo?

I’m also hoping to come back in 2020.

I thought I read that they go on sale Nov 11th

I hope to be there again, I saw that Rafael Riqueni will be playing in Gonzalez Byass, that would be awesome. but is before we are due to arrive!

edit: seems like its actually the 5th :)

See you there. I'm doing both the Manuel Valencia and Manuel Parilla masterclass. :)

Thanks. They confirmed the 5th Nov on an Instagram post too.

ddias -> RE: Jerez tickets online (Nov. 10 2019 18:45:06)

So far booked Tia Juana (with DdMorao), David Carpio and Rafael Riquini off the official festival site. I see La guarida del angel has just announced they're doing a tribute to Fernando de la Morena with 2 concerts/day, but can't see specific events just yet.

ddias -> RE: Jerez tickets online (Dec. 16 2019 12:05:29)

I'm arriving Saturday 22nd Feb - going to book Carpio, Riqini, etc and might join the Manuel Valencia masterclass (although I didn't get much from the Diego one last year).

Hoping to immerse myself for the week, can anyone recommend a good private teacher?

Thanks!

D.

Ddias, depends on what you want, but i would recommend jesus aggarado, augustin de la fuente, miguel salado if you want cante/ baile accomp material.

Ddias, manuel valencia does a good and thorough workshop, have had private lessons and well worth it.

Thanks Henry!

Any recommendations on which shows to see this year?

FredGuitarraOle -> RE: Jerez tickets online (Feb. 14 2020 16:02:40)

I'll be there from the 21st to the 27th. The shows I wont be missing are Antonio Rey, Rafael Riqueñi, Israel Fernandéz and Vicente Soto Sordera. All of those are on La Guarida except for Riqueñi.

mrstwinkle -> RE: Jerez tickets online (Feb. 14 2020 18:07:52)

Tia Juana la del Pipa accompanied by Diego del Morao is probably my most anticipated. Followed by Israel Fernandéz. More of a cante guy these days.

tele -> RE: Jerez tickets online (Feb. 15 2020 13:59:08)

Thanks for the suggestions. I see that Wilo del puerto is playing just before Soto, I can highly recommend him, especially for those who are going to see Soto's show.
