flyeogh -> A special lesson (Sep. 27 2019 14:43:43)

Just back from a 90 minute lesson with Moises in Jerez de la Frontera. It was perhaps the best lesson I've ever had but I can't really say why. We burnt some time discussing football and about him learning [or not] English - so not a packed 90 mins). I drove the lesson as always (I follow an online course so don't want two distinct routes). We covered a complex chord progression, Solea, Fandangos and finally Farruca. We changed a few Rasqueos. I played, he played, we played together (but totally informally, I just joined in when, as he does, he went with the flow [:D]). I knew it was going to be good as before, when I had 25 mins waiting on the platform for the train, I played and all went incredible well. A guy sat on the bench about 7 metres from mine (there were a dozen other benches and the platform was empty). Not sure how much he heard but he didn't run away (or sadly offer any money[8|]). But I felt good in the Andalusian sun. Now back home I see some things with greater clarity, I have a way forward for a couple of things, I have a bit of focus on Flamenco guitar as opposed to any other genre (just something Moises shared). 15 Euros I don't regret spending [:D]. Anyone else get something out of a special lesson, but perhaps can't exactly say why? Or maybe you can?
