I really like this video. Somehow Farruca is my most favorite palo. ‘‘It’s not too fast, not too slow and the rhythm sounds romantic. Can you give me the name and where to get the lyrics for this song? Mucho gracias.

The lyrics are traditional Farruca, first on this page https://depaloenpalo.wordpress.com/2012/01/12/letras-por-farruca/

I feel the arrangement was a strong influence on this: notice the ending footwork falseta played down an extra octave:

Thank you Ricardo.

I had the pleasure to have my first experience in dance accompanying with Raul who joined Paco in that record. His energy was totally incredible. We used to work with him for hours on a row and at the end of the day everybody was exhausted but Raul who still danced his way out of the building. On stage i've seen him do a very long and demanding dance solo which went on endlessly. It generated the biggest ovation I've ever seen (halfway a set) during which he spontaneously added an extension which went on for minutes as wel. It was hard to grasp that the most energetic person I've ever met went in a coma less then a year later (I believe he was still in his twenties or thirties) an died after a long period of being in coma which was a double tragedy for his familie who was not legally allowed to touch the familie bank account (which was on his name) during the year(s) he was in coma. Raul is still in my memory as the best dancer I've ever met. He started quite traditional but around the time we met he hardly used his upper body anymore but has become a feet musician. In the same way whe used vasiline to minimize friction of plugging the strings with the thump he used to tip his soles in a puddle of water to reduce friction when doing pyrouettes.

Thanks Erik, nice story. What is Raul full name? I’d like to search him on YouTube and google him in general to see what comes up. It was so sad to die so early.
