Yeah this is something he’s been doing for a whie now. He still can’t seem to flex his index. haven’t seen him play much in terms of arpeggios. Still amazing though!

He has adapted and I think his thumb is stronger than never before because of this adaptation.
The index finger probably can't be "recovered" to pre-accident levels.
Probably the strongest thumb work I've ever seen,,, doing all the work and sounding so great.
