i dont mind the higher price, since imo handbuilt instruments deserve luxury hardware. i just have to find a dealer, where i can buy it in metres and not precut small pieces. do you buy it directly from jescar?

Yeah, I bought it directly from Jescar. They sell it by the pound in 2’ diameter coils. I found it goes in easier if I straighten it out a bit before installing by running it through my fret bender contraption in reverse. It becomes about maybe a 4’ or 6’ arc after straightening.

Apparently they also sell it in 2’ straight lengths, which would help a lot with shipping costs.
