Hi Echi, I’m not John, but Yulong Guo from China won the second prize and the third prize was won by Hans Van Velzen from Holland.
I was told by one of the contestants that the guitar made by Hans Van Velzen was a Garcia copy and that Yulong Guo made a traditional guitar based on Bouchet. I don’t know how he got that information, probably he asked them.
There were three other finalists, one from Spain, one from China and one from Japan. I think there were 23 contestants in all.
