Hey, guys! This is my first post here. I want to lower the action a little bit on my flamenco guitar, so I'm willing to gently sand down the saddle a little bit, however, I heard that taking the strings off all at once is not good for the guitar. Could you please provide me with info regarding this, or any other methods that I can use to get the action a bit lower? Thank you!

While i wouldn't leave the strings off the guitar for any length of time, a few hours or even a few days won't matter IMO as long as you're not subjecting it to other big climatic changes.

I'd recommend you buy a fresh saddle and file it down while keeping the original one as a template / fallback solution.

Welcome to the foro.

Taking all the strings off at once is not an issue. The stress on the neck isn’t that much with nylon string guitars. You can find out a whole load of info on lowering action by searching the foro here. Also this is a good video:
