A ver, quiero escuchar algo mejor [:D] I'm loving Fandangos de Alosno right now.

These videos are great with Manuel herrera are really cool. Rocio has been criticized a lot but in some live videos she's actually really good.
Some of her experiments I really don't like but she has a really nice voice. Solid accompaniment from Manuel too : classic and efficient.

The music on her album is unlistenable but she has the voice of an angel. I just listen to her live YouTube stuff.

Ricardo -> RE: Fandangos de Alorno(So Morante posts a better one :)) (May 30 2018 16:05:24)

She only does one Alonso at the start after her intro (rocio I mean)

The other styles are a couple of Vallejo (por favor)

And maybe chocolate:

Maria terremoto sings in her family style obviously, (terremoto de jerez) the model of José Cepero/Caracol it seems, but she’s here to demo how a cantaora should project the feeling of fandangos.... the main ingredient missing from Rocio imo.

Ricardo for the win!

EDIT: nevermind, I should listen before I open my big trap.[:D]

Fandangos de Santa Eulalia. My favourite, but here in its folklore
setting.

I maybe would like that better in a flamenco setting. I've never been a fan of Spanish folk unless it's very flamencoized.

These are from 2 neighbouring villages: Santa Eulalia is the Patrona de Almonaster.

They are interesting since they do not follow the usual chord sequence.
