I think that’s why I’m a big fan of this movie. Fast forward to 27:33 til the end. Surrounded by the right people is key. Another great quote from “A Bronx tale” is “the saddest thing in life is wasted talent and the choices you make will shape your life forever.” Ok enough of my ranting.

Bronx tale had some gems. That conversation about 20 dollars being worth never seeing the person again has always stuck with me. It’s applicable to so many situations. I always saw it as pride is worth nothing compared to happiness.

The only thing that comes to my mind when I see good old Stallone is: "Charlie esto es un infierno Dios mio, Charlie!! no siento las piernas!!! "

Man spanish TV was so good back then, below stalones lost vietnam brother. If you understand spanish. This gag was the biggest thing in spain. Good Old "Esta Noche cruzamos el mississippi"

French television turned him into the embodiment of unregulated capitalism. A comedy news show called "Les guignols de l'info" had a Stallone puppet portray any person who was in the world of big money and finance. Footage of board meetings was particularly funny, with about 20 Stallone puppets arguing with each other around the table. A shame though, because from the interview he looks like a nice guy.
But this is what we made of him:

He seems to have his marbles all in place in that interview, yes.

I remember watching FIST dubbed into French (must have been on French TV). The scene in which he negotiates for 8% just by spitting out the word “huit” and looking like Rambo stayed with me, possibly because in those days industrial disputes were played out in the media and the complexity of the proposals and counter-moves was familiar to anyone who watched the news. It’s the only one of his films that I’ve ever really enjoyed.

Yeah, its a great movie with a good script. No question about it Lenny.
