Well you got me with the browns against bright maple binding. Why go on? That's all you need.

JasonM -> RE: Zircote Classical Guitar (Feb. 16 2018 14:23:00)

Sounds great and looks great too! Put a tap plate on it!

Ricardo -> RE: Zircote Classical Guitar (Feb. 18 2018 17:41:22)

Looks even cooler than Brazilian!

Wayne Brown -> RE: Zircote Classical Guitar (Feb. 19 2018 16:46:02)

Well, that is another beautiful guitar!! And sounds great to boot!

Andy Culpepper -> RE: Zircote Classical Guitar (Feb. 20 2018 23:28:24)

I'm not usually a fan of Maple bindings but that's gorgeous.

Thanks, Andy. I've had some boards that I was saving because they are mostly spalted but when I decided that I wanted flamed maple for the bindings I realized that there was enough on one of them that was not spalted and was nicely flamed.

I've been meaning to tell you that I like the various ways you've done cutaways.

I find it difficult to pick a thing to play to show a 'classical' guitar to classical players. So I play solea falsetas but in a very square way and make them ring. Or I play Guardame las vacas, but like its flamenco.

I used to worry about it, but I heard a Pepe Romero interview ( and i already knew this) but said good guitars play both. So now I don't worry about it. Next time just play without telling them, guitars are guitars.
