I don't think it has been mentioned on foro before. It was a bit surprising for me to find nice piece of spanish guitar in japanese anime, it sounded pretty good to me. I hope others here would enjoy it as well...

PS: Not sure how flamenco it is though.

looks like I'm pretty late in posting this considering rombix's videos in 2013 :)

Yeah but if you hadn't posted that now, I never would have discovered what Bleach was [;)]
I read through the wikipedia plot synopsis and it's funny how it's got a few Spanish sounding names in there. I wonder if it's been adapted to Spanish and, if so, if they kept the same names. Because "Arrancar" sounds pretty ridiculous in Spanish for somebody's name. Sounds like you're trying to start up the car. [8D]

I'm Indian and primarily speak English and Hindi. But, I'm seeing the Japanese version (with English subtitles) and names are same, so most likely its not adapted to Spanish.
However, there is definitely some Spanish connection, "Arrancar" appears to have similar meanings in both Japanese and Spanish as per http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Arrancar .

Glad to know that it was new to someone. :)

I enjoyed Bleach. They might even be bringing more to the anime in the future.

I watch a lot of anime and find that quite often the Japanese use flamenco to portray bad guys! So the is little bits all of the place! Shame I can't remember any examples.

are you sure? the last arc wasn't so successful and got kind of hated on by most of the fandom, but it would be awesome to watch some new bleach episodes again after so many years.

i love bleach. too bad it had such an abrupt ending. and this tune from fiesta de guerra was one of the first tune that I tried playing by ear. btw you played it great ramzi ! [:D] made me realize that I should've given it a second listen after so many years. need to refinger it.

this one is also awesome:

*yawn*

Japanese gypsy kings junk. In Japanese the slang for fake stuff is nanchate' - It's nanchate' Gypsy Kings....Japanese people really need to find more stuff to do on the farm..

People outside Japan love Japanese pop culture, but when you live with it everyday it becomes cloying garbage you have to tune out.

When I was growing up, a lot of the cartoons (if not most) that aired on French television were Japanese. Goldorak (apparently called UFO Robot Grendizer in English, thanks wikipedia), the mysterious cities of gold, Sherlock Holmes, Olive et Tom, etc. French cartoons were gloomier and all in all not nearly as entertaining. It's only much later that I realized all of these cartoons were Japanese imports. To me they were just French, and to this day I've still got that attachment to them that is really just nostalgia I guess. I have no idea what's come out since the 80s though, except the Miyazaki movies that for some reason really struck a chord with French audiences (probably because, just like in French movies, nothing ever really happens in them...). As for "graphic novels", my brother was more eclectic than I was. He had anything from the Japanese manga like Akira and the like to US comic books like Marvel or whatever. I was more of a Tintin, Asterix, Gaston Lagaffe kind of kid.
