Does anyone use a guitar support? I mean either those A-frame things or those leg cushions that suspend the guitar at an angle. I find that playing feels more "right" for me when I play in the "traditional position", but if I'm not wearing a short sleeved shirt that allows for my bare arm to grip the guitar, the guitar slips a lot. The supports seem like they'd help with this, but I don't know how they would be for flamenco (they seem to be marketed toward classical players). Before I throw more money at yet another flamenco tool, I wanted to see what you guys' experience with these things are.

Did you try the search function?

I do use a flamenco loco now and then on my go anywhere basher guitar, not on my main guitar though, because suction cups can mess with a nitro finish.
I like this support, particularly because it can fold up and let you use any other flamenco position easily. No complex modifications either.

Here's another thread on the topic.

Guitar supports saved my playing (due to back and wrist pain which was remedied with the supports). Try the FlamencoLoco from DeOroMusic.

This is a great support, not expensive, and very solid on leg and balanced on guitar.

info@deoromusic.com , or just put into search locoflamenco.

also on you tube, put into search same or de oro support

A cheap, light and portable support, can be made if you have a strapbutton on the bottom of the guitar.
Cut a strap in half, connect it to the strapbutton, take the loose strapend between your legs and under the thigh with the guitar and sit on the strap.
