I'm a heathen who generally only listens to Jerez music and finds Paco/Camaron too complex for my primitive tastes. I also usually avoid compilations like the plague. But found an old loose CD of the Inedita thingy in my pile of decaying spinny plastic (ebay / junk shop / who knows) and gave it a listen.

Wow. La Calle Parra - now THAT is a solea. No idea who the guitarist is or what year it was recorded or whatever. Like Moraito's buleriando, will be on my desert island disc list.

the accompanist on La Calle Parra, El de la Calzá and La Orilla Morena is Camarón himself

I've been wondering for two days who would pop this bubble. I was too busy snickering.

Good info. By far my 3 favourite pieces on the CD.

I'd thought it might be Paco Cepero given the minimalist approach.

Any videos of him playing these tracks anywhere?

With some searching you can find Camaron accompaning himself at El Rocio while sitting next to Fernanda de Utrera.
It's on You Tube.
